PGA TOUR and Oxford Golf Group Announce Merchandise Partnership (Press Release)

The partnership will begin on Feb 1, 2010, and will include 14 PGA TOUR events in 2010, including all events on the PGA TOUR that are run by the TOUR’s Championship Management department. The first event included in the agreement is the Northern Trust Open being played at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, CA, Feb. 1-7, 2010.

Oxford Golf will provide a variety of state-of-the-art fixtures designed to maximize sell-through while giving customers the best retail experience. Oxford Golf will be the exclusive provider of volunteer uniforms for PGA TOUR Championship Management events including: Northern Trust Open, Accenture Match Play Championship, CA Championship, Bridgestone Invitational, The Barclays, THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola and THE PLAYERS Championship. In addition, Oxford Golf products will be sold in the merchandise tents of the 14 events and in various TPC Network pro shops.

The development of these state-of-the-art fixtures has been an exciting collaboration between the PGA TOUR and Oxford Golf,” said Dave Leveille, President of Oxford Golf. “We are excited to continue in these joint efforts and look forward to the introduction of the new fixture designs at the 2010 Northern Trust Open.”

The men's and women's volunteer shirts worn at these tournaments will be from Oxford Golf's Earth Tech™ collection of eco-friendly polos which are made from materials derived from recycled plastic bottles. These shirts will also be sold in the merchandise tents and in TPC pro-shops across the country.
